The existing code of ongoing project is available on open source platform GitHub with the description of its scope on a white paper.
The Best thing of the codebase is it consist of adapter which can translate the proprietary into an interoperable transfer which made possible to Instagram data workable for Flicker and vice-versa.
These adapters also have system to encrypt the data while transferring by issuing the forward secret keys for each transaction. The system is focused on time transfer rather than continuous interoperability enabled by many APIs.
The bulk of coding has been done by the Google and Microsoft engineers who have thinking about the idea of more robust data transfer system from long time.
