India vs. West Indies, Third ODI Preview
Virat Kohli
Will Virat Kohli be on the third straight ODI ton on Pune Saturday?
The scoreline should have been read from 1-1, but Indian captain Virat Kohli had admitted that the men in Blue were lucky to lead the series 1-0 after the first two ODIs.

Unlike expectations, the West Indies have been able to put pressure on India, especially with their batting performance. With scoring from Shimron Heater and Shay Hope centuries, visitors have managed to score more than 300 runs in both matches.

In Visakhapatnam on Sunday, West Indies were chasing 322 runs before losing momentum and playing tie in the final over.

Visitors are hoping to ride at their newly found speed in Pune, which is expected to speed up and bounce, which will make it easier for the batsmen. The third ODI can prove to be a fight between the two teams.

While India’s batting unit has been riding on the top-order performance, their bowling unit, especially the bowlers, were put under pressure by the West Indian batsmen. In order to deal with the threat, India has recalled its white-ball experts in Jupiter Bumra and Bhubaneswar Kumar.

Both India’s inexperienced West Indies are critical for the possibility of putting pressure on the batting line-up, which is hoping for hope so far.

The hosts will definitely be warned in the firepower in favor of Jason Holder because they see the missing lead in the ongoing series. On the other hand, visitors will expect to stop the run-machine Kohli and the Indians will go in the middle order.

India captain Virat Kohli on Saturday took the milestone during the fourth Test during the fourth Test against England at Rose Bowl Cricket ground in Southampton.

Captain Virat Kohli added another record in his figures as the first Indian player to score 4000 runs in the captain. In front of the five-match Test series, to complete 400 runs as captain in the Kohli Test, 544 runs required, and 29-year-old added 544 runs at an average of 68.00,

in which two centuries to reach the milestone and three Half-Centers were included. Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is second in the list with 3454 runs as captain. MS Dhoni, who led India in 60 Test matches, has five centuries and 24 half-centuries under his belt.

India’s batting legend is third in the Sunil Gavaskar charts. He has 3449 runs as Test captain

Kohli became the sixth Indian cricketer to score 1500 runs against England, Sachin Tendulkar topped the list with 2535 runs against England, scoring seven centuries and 13 half centuries at an average of 51.73.

Apart from Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar (2483), Rahul Dravid (1950), Gundappa Vishwanath (1880) and Dilip Vengsarkar (1598) are Indian batsmen who scored more than 1500 runs against England.

Kohli has also become the country’s highest run-getter. The record was first organized by Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, whose names are 1693 runs.

The Indian captain took 19 Tests to reach the milestone, while Ganguly played 28 tests overseas in the form of a captain.

With 1591 runs at an average of 32.46, Dhoni is third in the list. Dhoni has played 30 Tests in the form of captaincy abroad

Mohammed Azharuddin has scored 1517 runs in 27 Test matches as a captain on foreign soil.
