Huawei sub-brand Honor has started rolling out the latest Android update to the Honor 9X Pro. The update brings software version EMUI to the device. It is 373MB in size and brings Android security patch for the month of May to Honor 9X Pro. Users can check the latest update in the phone’s settings app.
Honor 9X Pro was launched earlier this year in India with a price tag of Rs 17,999. It is the company’s first phone in the country to come without Google Play Store. Instead, it comes with the company’s own App Gallery. It can be purchased online via e-commerce site Flipkart along with offline stores.

Honor 9X Pro is powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The handset packs 6GB RAM and is equipped with a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution.
The device comes with an internal storage capacity of 256GB which can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. Honor 9X Pro is backed by a 4000mAh battery and comes with 10W fast charging support.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone boasts of a triple lens camera setup at the back. It consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth camera sensor. Users will get a 16MP popup camera with f/2.2 aperture at the front for selfies. Honor 9X Pro is offered in two colour options: Midnight Black and Phantom Purple.
