Japanese imaging company Fujifilm has launched a new instant camera — instax Square SQ1 — in India. As the name suggests, the camera offers a square design and captures the images that are squared shaped, which the company claims are 1.5 times the size of images that are captured by instant cameras from the company.
Instax Square SQ1 camera price and availability
The instax Square SQ1 camera has been launched at Rs 10,999 and will be available for pre-booking starting September 24 on both Amazon and Flipkart in three colour options — Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue, and Chalk White.
Instax Square SQ1 specs and features
The latest instant camera from Fujifilm makes use of two new instax instant film varieties — instax Square Rainbow film and instax Square Monochrome film.
One of the key features of the new addition to this Instax range is its automatic exposure. This function is said to automatically detect the level of ambient light when the shutter button is pressed, and accordingly optimise the shutter speed and flash output as per the lighting conditions.
Besides that, it also offers a built-in selfie mirror to assist users in clicking selfies and close up shots. Users will be required to twist the lens twice to turn the selfie mode on.
Fujifilm claims that the film development time is approximately 90 seconds and the camera will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of no use.
